The first day of the Year of the Horse was beautiful, wasn't it?

I'd like to remind you that Monday is a short day. We start at 8: 50 and go to 10:30. Our classroom number is B1209 (in the new building).

Homework for Monday, February 3rd, 2014

1. Rewrite your invitation email and hand it in.
2. Write a thank-you email to Fred form YMCA if you went on a field trip. If you didn't go  on a field trip, write a thank-you email to a friend. You need to think of  a situation.
3. Check out the Lunar New Year listening exercise, vocabulary and story.
4. If you have a handout from Thursday, complete the ESL News exercises for one, two or more news items.


 5.  If you have time, you can check the vocabulary link below. We'll review the words next week.

6. February 2nd is Groundhog Day. If you watch the news, listen to the groundhog's prediction. Is the winter going to be over soon, or will we have 6 more weeks of cold weather?
