These idioms are very interesting ! Some of them are same as in China.For example, we also say " don't put all your eggs in one basket " to express "don't put all your money or effort into one thing".If someone who is afraid of something,we say “ He/She is a mouse”. "walking on thinice" is same as "walking on eggshells" etc.
